Meet Caroleena

I came into clinical psychotherapy with a deep desire to hold safe space for those who want to share their story and understand themselves in a more profound and compassionate way. As both a professional and individual who has valued counselling, I understand how important it is to be truly heard in an environment that feels non-judgemental, inclusive and open.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (ACA) and I offer in-person sessions in Adelaide and virtual psychotherapy services Australia-wide. I identify as a Canadian Latinx cis female. I am continually learning and unlearning my intersecting identities and how to support, stand up and uplift voices of those impacted by racism, colonization and discrimination.

On a personal level, I am an outdoor enthusiast and spend my time hiking, camping and connecting with nature. I am a dog foster mama, caring and nurturing dogs in need until they find their perfect home. Dog fostering has provided insight and empathy into how attachment and trauma impacts all living beings and how connection, patience and understanding is key to healing.
